added some pictures to the walls so now it's less depressing (those are socks drying on the sill, yes)
woke up early (3am? I can't really remember) and got some milk tea to go with my leftover breakfast from 85 degrees

Royal Palm blvd. and the library

I didn't know that Taiwan had a Democracy Wall! I only got up to learning about Japan and China because I left my summer classes early for BACT. They are learning about Taiwan while I am in Taiwan... but I still have my textbook with me and can read some while I'm here!

The view from my seat when the door's open- I can't see videos from here that well so I think I'll move tomorrow

Dinner- Thanks Flora for taking me to eat, otherwise I would have went to sleep and my jetlag would've been the same!

I'm not sure how to get this to get out of caption size so I'll continue in this font.
On Monday we met for an opening ceremony, then went to the NTU museum. After that we went on a scavenger hunt which was exhausting for me because I slept early and woke up early, and everything went very... ssslowly. I thought, beginning with the NTU museum's tour guide, our leaders' English levels could have been more advanced before they took on a group. We had class, break, class, and then we were done for the day. I liked learning about Taiwan and its creatures.
I think I will be able to appreciate everything even more when I'm better rested. I also think living by oneself is slightly depressing; I'm used to roommates! I kind of wanted to go home yesterday but too bad, can't. I like seeing other students and learning about how their school works.
Hope today goes well! I slept at more normal times and that will undoubtedly help.
