Today was a slightly tiring day, we went to hehua shan and
hiked for about two and a half hours. The altitude was very high, and I could
feel the oxygen getting thinner as we climbed.
The weather was very nice so it wasn’t as cold as Jack or
the other teachers thought, though we all brought thick jackets with many
layers underneath.
After hehua mountain we went to another, shorter trail which
ended in a restroom with no soap in the bathroom (!!!!!!!). We had lunch
afterwards, then headed to a sheep farm. There was a sheep herding show right
when we arrived (lucky us!) and Jennifer Tien and I walked around after it
ended. There were sausages in the market near the south entrance, and they
tasted as good as the other ones I’ve tried in the north. I think that the one
at Shi Ling night market was the best, though.
After the sheep farm, we had some time to rest, had dinner,
and went to a lecture about Mei Feng Farm. I liked this lecture because the
speaker was very interesting to listen to.
